From being just girls to becoming women….

This is kinda cute… and yeah I admit interesting! Me and two of my girlfriends were just chatting about how the men can identify the women from the girls… and viola I get this in my email! Thanks “Inborn” for this! What can I say… you’re “one of a kind” woman yourself!

Maybe the girls can learn something from this… so Girls read on and Women hahaha need I say more????

How to tell apart the girls from the women?

Girls want to control the man in their life.

Women know that if he’s truly hers, he doesn’t need controlling.

Girls check their man for not calling them.

Women are too busy to realize their man hasn’t called.

Girls are afraid to be alone.

Women revel in being alone as a time for personal growth.

  Girls ignore the good guys.

Women ignore the bad guys.

Girls make their men come home.

Women make their men want to come home.

Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.

Women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits.

Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.

Women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man.

Girls try to monopolize all their man’s time

(i.e., don’t want him hanging with his friends).

Women realize that a lil’ bit of space makes the ‘together time’ even more special and goes out to enjoy with her own friends.

Girls think a guy crying is weak.

Women offer their shoulder and a tissue.

Girls want to be spoiled and ‘tell’ their man so.

Women ’show’ him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of losing his ‘manhood’.

Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.

Women know that was just one man.

Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection,

ignoring all ’signs’.

Women know that sometimes the one you love,

don’t always love you back, and move on without bitterness.

Girls will read this and get an attitude.

Women will read this and shrug their shoulders… what else can we say?

This really struck me…

After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul.

And you learn that love does not mean leaning,
and company does not always mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses are not contracts
and presents are not promises.

And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up
and your eyes ahead with the grace of an adult,
not the grief of a child.

And you learn to build all your roads on today because
tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain, for plans
and futures have a way of falling down in flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you
get too much. So you plant your own garden and
decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure that you really
are strong and you really do have worth.

And you learn and you learn with every good-bye you learn.

Unfinished Business

Rain is pounding on the rooftop as dusk was approaching.

He fingered the lace-edged collar of her blouse, then slipped his hand into the space between the buttons and unfastened them. Drawing the shirtfront apart, he slid it over her shoulders. It dropped softly to the carpet.

He ran his hands over the satiny smoothness of her arms softly touching her with his fingertips.

This time it was her turn. Her index finger traced a delicate trail from his abdomen to his neck. And softly with her lips she trailed feather-light kisses from the nape of his neck to the tips of his ears and focused on the hollow on his throat where a nerve was pulsating erratically.

She deftly unbuttoned his shirt and pulled it off. His wide leather belt slapped softly against denim as she drew it through the loops and dropped it at their feet. One by one she popped open the buttons that fastened his jeans and then she smoothed her palms against his sides and neatly slowly pushed the jeans down to his ankles. She looked at his pulsating maleness and went down on her knees to softly trace the edges of his underwear with her tongue.

Pulling it down with erotic slowness until all that was left of him was the sheen of moisture all over his body and she looked at him with eyes wide and wanting.

As she languorously filled her eyes of the sight of him, he looked at her as he slid his hands in the waistband of her skirt and sent it to the floor. She was standing in front of him in black lacy lingerie – all woman, soft desire and female need.

The clock struck the hour but neither one of them noticed the darkening horizon, as both were lost in the spell of what was happening at the moment. Aching for the sensation of skin on skin, he lowered his head to her neck drinking in her fresh scent….

BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP “Ma’am wake up…. Ma’am wake up…. your phone is ringing….”

Sigh… a deeper sigh… My phone is ringing…. and my cab has stopped. I have reached my destination and I’m now awake.

aaaarghhhhh!!!!???%$#@^%
